Am using Nokia N73.My BP-6m Battery has very poor backup?

Am using Nokia N73.There is no problem in my handset.
But my BP-6m Battery has very poor battery back up..
Its stand only 6 -8 hours with less usage.
I had changed so many batteries.
But the problem persists.
Does the mobile software is the cause for low battery backup?
I don’t know what is the reason for this problem.
Software upgrading will really help to improve the backup?
So kindly assist me to solve this problem.

Yeah…you can surely update your software version as it somewhat helps..nokia make updates to overcome the previous difficulties..i hope it may help you…
