any way of disabling a gprs tracker on a transit?

it has been on for 4 months now and its really pissing me off.for work purposes its ok and im not bothered being tracked
its just i want to use it on the weekends so i dont want to remove it or damage it.thought about taking the fuse out but have an idea thats its on a battery backup.any ideas welcome

have a strong magnet fitted near the tracker(trans-miter), that might disturb the transmission without leaving any trace.
or have a lead blanket around it to stop it from transmitting.
similar to an armed jacket, good luck and let me know if it worked.
this answer is a pure technical openion without considering the moral side of the whole matter. MagsyNZ

If it is a company vehicle, then they have every right to know where it is being driven even when you are not working.
They will know that it has been disabled and will most likely question you. Is it really worth possibly getting fired over ? short shrimp
