Can I use a 3-phase whole house surge protector in a normal split-phase power house?
shrubber asked:
I bought a pretty nice surge protector to install whole-house. However, I had to put off the project till now. I’ve realized I received a 3-phase Wye unit instead of a split phase. Can I hook up my hot to one of the phases and use it?
