turning on, it immediately turned off. even loading a windows cd
just b4 loading itself, it turned off..
3. i have a hidden partition for recovery of the windows home edition..
i cant access it.
4. for a test, i removed the battery. let it rest. cleaned the fan
abit.. help laptop in air, not letting the fan touching the
surface while i removed 1 memory 512mb [had 2 times 512mb]..
i installed my windows xp professional just to make sure the laptop
is working properly.
5. MY VERSION OF WINDOWS XP PROFESSIONAL, IS ALREADY INSTALLED AND ACTIVATED
ON A MAIN. CAN I USE THE SAME VERSION TO ACTIVATE ON A 2ND MOTHERBOARD[DIFFERENT 1].
HOW IT WORKS… ??
6.i put back all the memory into its normal posiiton. till now, laptop is working fine.
if i can activate the windows xp prof.. then i will use it only
for my main studies..
7. according to u all, what problably caused the pc to not boot sudenly..
i am thking of dust in fan.. but am not sure.. its da first time i am getting that.
thanx
I have already attempted the following:
Higher power supply
APC Battery Backup surge protector
Reformating
Yet I still have this problem. It can be very spontaneous, I can leave the computer on for 30 minutes and the system will freeze, and my music i listen too will have a flat line frequency coming from the speakers, and I cannot do a thing.
Any other ideas would be much appreciated
Last time it froze, Speed fan saw my CPU temp at 60C or 140F…is that too hot?
Please, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
i’m thinking about buying like this like cooling product that goes over the processor fan….I have been getting different pieces of advice from different people, hence buying the APC and the new power supply (550W)
The other tip I am considering was this product called Thermaltake CPU cooler…any feedback?
The computer seems to hang on mup.sys before crashing when I try to boot in safe mode.
I can also boot into a linux live cd distro.
I can’t boot into safe mode at all.
The temperatures are good, it’s just the display that flickers. Also the temperature probe on the mainboard always stays well under 50 C. It usually operates around 40 C.
Also, the coolant is only tied to the power supply, and the readout gives the cpu temp which is also verified in bios, and they are never above 50 C

I have recently started this hobby building computers. I really LOVE it. I only build them for myself and family though for right now. I do know it saves a lot of money compared to store bought junk. So I am actually considering starting this as a part time job. So I was just curious what the resale value of these are after a build. Thank You Again for Your time.
I have the Enlight EN-4203 Gamers Case
Microgeek claims that my system sold as is is worth 1000-1500 depending on the buyer, and would be worth 1800-2000 after upgrades. BUT, with my system being currently used, it is worth between 800-1000 as is. and would be 1200-1500 used upgraded. So I think it is pretty good.
