gary b asked: While driving today in the night, I noticed that the light on the LED
of the digital clock and the light of the LCD panel of the Car radio
were very dim (almost no light). The car head lights were fine. Is this
the beginning of a battery Problem or is this the beginning of an Alternator problem ? I haven’t seen that scary red light yet on the
dash board. Please help ……..

EM asked: We use a small solar to charge one marine battery. At night time the battery has not charged at all. We turn on the generator during the day and that should charge the other battery. Also, we were told to use this tender devise to charge one of our battery. What is causing the battery not to be charged. Our lights at night is so dim.We check the monitor inside the and it shows that battery has never been charged. What can we do to check it out?

John Doe asked: I have a 79 corvet that has a 383 stroker in it. I recently found that the alternator was bad. I have replaced the alternator and a new dry cell battery. I have tested both the battery and the alternator and I know that they are good. Now my problem is that the alternator still will not charge the battery. If i start the car when i jump it, it works alright but once i remove the cables the voltage on the guage starts dropping. It just wont charge. Oh by the way i cant take it to a auto repair shop becuase no one will work on a car that is over 20 years old. Where do i begin to find this problem and fix it? Any advice?

Vroom Broom asked: My car won’t start but makes a loud continuous buzzing noise. So I got another car and jumped started it and it started right up.
I started it several times after the jump and it started right up.
An hour later, I tried to start and it wouldn’t start again and made the buzzing noise again.
The battery is about 3 years old and the light on it says it’s still good.
So will replacing the battery solve this problem or could it possibly be something serious like a starter or alternator?

Ms.Dimples asked: I have a big problem that no one seems to know a thing about.
I have a 1996 Honda Civic, I just bought a new battery because the old one was no good anymore (so we thought) but then this morning my car would not start again, it was completely dead again. We started the car with jump start but as soon as you tun off the car it wont start again… They already checked to see if it was the alternator and they said it was ok, what could be the problem?

24Fitness asked: If I turn off the engine, the battery dies within 30 minutes. With another jump start, the car starts again.
The battery is 3 years old; I’m the original owner and the ALTERNATOR has never been replaced.
What seems to be the problem?
