Will hard wired smoke detector work if security system is disabled?

inverter at home for power backup?

Battery Back Up For A Generator? Does It Exist? I Want Something That Keeps Power On During Power Outage?

Thanks for all the help so far! Does Racto Panel ring a bell with anyone? Thats the term someone told my boss but I was unable to find anything with that name. The want something that kicks on right away, like say maybe the lights blink and thats it. They want it to be able to stay on long enough for the generator to kick on.
