sai asked: Hi friends,
I haven’t had a blackberry or a PDA till now. I am in search of a new one. I am going use the device for the following purposes…
1. Planning and storage- Calendar, appointments, Daily Reminders, notes, critical datas like security codes, passwords etc
2. Larger space for contact/address book.
3. Phone call, SMS, MMS
4. Occasional multimedia usage (good Camera _ video recording, good Music/media player)
5. Email and web surfing (not a frequent one though) with WIFI
Provisions to add third party applications.
6. Provision to add addtional memory sticks
7. Easily sync to my personal outlook and laptops (apple and Sony VIAO)
8. LASTLY, it should be solid in OS security, hardware and good battery backups…
Please suggest me if PDAs (with the model) or Blackberry type models suit my requirements…

My programs hung suddenly and I had no choice but to take out the battery. I’ve done this before and each time, my data will be intact. Somehow today, it’s all gone. I want my text messages back. Please help!
Venom Reloaded, it’s working, but the settings are reset. My messages have disappeared. The calendar is in 2004. I don’t understand what’s going on. It’s unlocked I think.
Hey, thanks for the help. My phone is unlocked. My SIM card doesn’t have much memory space so I keep most info on my phone, but it got wiped out =( Kinda bummed. PDA restarted to I think the RAM memory got wiped out.

Amma’s Child asked:
I have an HP iPAQ Pocket PC with two batteries. Whenever the main LiIon battery is low, I don’t know how to switch it to the backup NiMH battery. When I go to the Power settings for the battery, I don’t see any buttons or info regarding switching it. Does it happen automatically? Everytime the iPAQ was down to 20%, it would shut down completely. Then when I recharge it, it goes into “setup” mode, the programs that I had installed disappear. Why does this happen? Is this normal or is it faulty? The model I use is hx2110. Thanks!
