Battery Backup Guide

I got the new iPhone 3g a couple weeks ago and I’ve experienced a few annoyances such as bad battery life, a slightly loose home button, had the white screen of death once, and multiple freezes/crashes. I’m thinking about going back into AT&T and getting a replacement, but I was just wondering about all of the data I have on my phone. Will I be able to restore an iTunes backup of my current iPhone onto a new one?

We charged it again thinking that it was disconnected or loosely connected. Same message appeared. I ordered a new battery (the battery that you take out of the back and is square). Same message. Backup battery is low. Is there another battery I am not aware of? How can I fix this problem?

I have an Audiovox XV6600, 2006 model, from Verizon that I am still using. It has a main battery and a backup battery. The backup battery is dead, won’t charge. I know it can be replaced because the part can be bought, but I can’t find anything in the User Guide or elsewhere to explain how to replace it. Verizon and Audiovox no longer offer support.
