Comcast Digital Voice Problems? See details?

battery backup
Mitch asked:

Almost every time I make a call people tell me they can barely hear me, my voice is loud and I get frutrated because I start yelling into the phone. Does anyone else have this problem with Comcast Digital Voice Plan? I know for sure it’s not my phone, I have tried more than one phone and the same thing happens.

I think this digital phone service has other issues too….
Like when the electric goes out the battery backup works fine for the cale/phone modem but the service WILL NOT WORK! Comcast told me the 8 hour back up battery will allow me to make phone calls when electric is out.

Overall, I’m very upset with Comcast service as a whole. They are even showing text/graphic ads on their tv guide screen which they never did before. I feel like I’m their guinea pig for testing ways to make them money, cause they sure as heck did not lower my bill when they started pumping ads on screen.

I digress, does anyone have the same problems with the phone service? Did Comcast give a fix

Do you use a cordless phone? If so, battery back up will only work with wired phones. If the electric goes out, the power supply to your cordless phone will not have any power and you will not be able to make a phone call.

In regards to the volume issue, we will be happy to take a look at the problem if you are willing to provide the phone number in question.

I apologize for the inconvenience and I look forward to assisting you further.

Comcast is being sued for shoddy service. There are complaints all over. Find another carrier.
