have you ever heard of a back up code for the backup battry in a cell phone?

ok so my history teacher told me a code for my cell phone in case my battery dies .he said there is a back up battery in every cell phone . there is a code to activate it on a dead cellphone by pressing the keys on the key pad in a cirtin order . i forgot it and so did he . do you know anything about it? please answer.
