Help, DVD battery solution needed?

I have a portable DVD player and the battery only last for a hour and a half. I need it to last longer for the plane ride (16 month old) is there a devise I can charger and then plug the battery into it when it dies on the plane? It’s too late to order a backup online. Thanks,

When I flew to Europe last year I was able to get an adapter with a cigarette lighter type of plug attached to it and it plugged into a socket on the plane and provided power all of the way into heathrow airport. I got mine from Frys electronics outlet on th west coast. They were a little pricey but they work well.
