HELP! Our computer backup battery is randomly giving off a loud whining noise and we can’t shut it up?

Hi Terrab:
All backup batteries are different, so, I think the best option is to read the user manual of yours; if you don’t have it, try pressing the ON button for a few seconds or until you hear a “beep” sound (maybe one, maybe two).
