		<description>It sounds like you are safe. However when any electronics are energized even a drop of water in the wrong place can cross contacts on the small board inside.  Most are protected enough from accidental drops and whatnot so that it should never happen.  But this does not mean its a go to use outdoors or in wet locations.

		<description>a surge protector work like a breaker box if there's a problem it kicks off no damage even if it gets soaked in most cases it will just kick off and once its dry will work just fine</description>
