You can watch out the parameter of laptop battery capacity carefully.
Usually, the 4000mAh lasts 2hours, and 6600mAh lasts 3 hours.

Depending on the type of laptop you are going to get and the battery that comes with it. Obviously, you should get a netbook or a laptop running on Intel Core 2 Duo Ultra Low Voltage processors. A 6 cell battery can power a netbook for about 6-8 hours and a laptop for about 5-7 hours. It also depends on your performance and screen brightness settings when on battery. check reviews online, there will be a time also on the box of the laptop or you can ask the seller however this time tends to be the max time, e.g. with screen brightness down, wifi/3g/blue tooth off so the battery life when doing stuff tends to be a hour or so less then they quote. Zac P
