if i unplug my surge protector for a month while going away, the ac is naturally cut off but are the coax and?

The phone and coax circuits are still going through the surge protector. But with the protector unplugged there is no ground and it can’t provide the protection it normally would. Just disconnect the phone and coax from the surge protector as well. This would solve the problem.
