		<description>Your battery may be malfunctioning, or there is some type of "short" in it.  It is usually the adapter.  They should go for about  5 years, at least mine did, it is an HP pavilion, an older version.  I'd take it to a place called Central Computers, they are excellent.  They do work for most of the companies where I live in the Silicon Valley, and they are reasonable.  They are in San Jose, (if you aren't), they can give you a referral where you live.
