My calculator has a virus! help?

After playing a game, i exited out and my calculator had all these weird code things on it. Then, none of my buttons could work!!! so i took out the batteries, and put them back on but my calculator still had those weird code things. So then i took out the backup battery and all the original batteries, put them all back in and my calculator still showed the code things!! so what am i supposed to do?? please dont say buy a new calculator
apm, its a ti-84+ so tell me EXACTLY what i should do please

You need to specify the make and model of you calculator so the we can help you. There is a reset button normally on these devices which can reset the software back to factory setting. It usually requires a pin to to inserted in a hole and press it gently. Sorry can’t help much without knowing the make and model.
Press {2nd } {MEM}
Select 7 ( which is reset)
Select Reset All
This will remove all the archival and RAM programs stored. Hopefully that should restore your calculator.
