It has more to do with your energy management, than the battery.
Most P&S cameras will take from 170 to 250 shots before you will need to put a fresh one in them.
Using your LCD uses the most energy, next is the use of the flash and finally using the zoom. If you can figure out a work flow that reduces using those features except when you need to, your battery will last much longer. Also avoid using your LCD to show all your friends your photos as much as possible or carry a spare battery with you.
Fujifilm sells batteries for your camera … avoid buying generic ones, they can overheat while charging and cause a fire or worse, explode. See more about battery safety in the beginning of your owners manual
By the way, Fujifilm make a whole lot of 10 mp cameras, which one are you specifically talking about?

xD I was looking for a question I could answer. For you… yes, just go to any major electronic store and purchase one. Make sure you know your model number. I know from experience from working there, Best buy has them for around 20-30.
BUT
After you get it. Make sure you train your camera.. which is simply exlained as…when you first get it..charge it fully… then use it all up.. then charge it fully..then use it all up..do this for 3 days and then continue use..make sure u avoid charging a battery(( cell phone- computer..etc)) when its half full..that gives u a better life span.
I realize others will tell you to turn off this and that… but how often do we really think about that.. but i’d listen to everything and try thier way too..but tried and tested is this.
Good luck. Hope it helped.
