		<description>the ONLY sure way to protect your computer during lightening storm is unplug it from the wall....unplug the telephone cord that is attached to your computer too.  i lost a computer to power surge during Charlie thru my telephone line into the computer.  Unplug everything from the computer that is attached to an outside sorce of electricity.  I lost another computer from lightening when i had left my printer plugged into the wall and it was connected to the computer and the only source of power surge...fried my circuit board.</description>

		<description>A little extra safety couldn't hurt.  A lightening strike, if close enough, will fry a surge protector and may also jump past it as surge protectors are not designed to handle that much of an overload.</description>
