my computer just died. i had it plugged into the battery backup?
tour0817 asked:
the battery backup doesn’t work for some reason. i plugged the CPU directly into the wall and computer still won’t turn on. could it be the power cord from the CPU to the power source?

Depending on country it could be the plug fuse blown, alternatively a failed power supply or possibly a motherboard, the last is unlikely.

could be switch it with the monitor cord or try another if you have one. could aslo be the power supply on the PC

If it’s not the outlet at the wall most likely it’s the power supply.
make sure your power supply doesn’t have an on/off switch that is tripped to off.

Check all the basic power connectivity to the PC, try a different Power cable, try on a different Outlet, sometime power supply has on/off switch.
Second open the case and check all the basic power connectivity inside as well.
