My MacBook2,1 ’s battery life has been degrading very rapidly. How can I get it back up?
alamo49 asked:
It used to be at 84 percent, but then suddenly, after the CPU fan was going for a while, the widget said that it was at 48% battery health. I tried “calibrating” the battery, but the highest that I can get it to is 72%.

Apple uses some pretty crappy batteries. Lots of problems in the past.
You can try the calibration routine again and might get a little more capacity, otherwise you’ll need to get a new battery.

hmmm sorry to hear that, you’re gonna prolly have to have Mac replace the battery for you. which will probably cost 100 dollars for the battery itself and another 50-100 dollars to get a technician to replace it for you
