Vroom Broom asked: My car won’t start but makes a loud continuous buzzing noise. So I got another car and jumped started it and it started right up.
I started it several times after the jump and it started right up.
An hour later, I tried to start and it wouldn’t start again and made the buzzing noise again.
The battery is about 3 years old and the light on it says it’s still good.
So will replacing the battery solve this problem or could it possibly be something serious like a starter or alternator?

Rick asked: I recently purchased a brand new a 9mm STI GP-6 SA/DA pistol. The problem I have is that the slide does not go all the way forward (out of battery) while feeding a round into the chamber. This happens when I rack the slide and also after a round has been fired. I had to manually push the slide forward to get the gun to fire the next round. Please advice on the possible solution to the problem. Does the gun just need breaking-in period? Thanks.

Josh asked: I’ve heard the older 2006 models had problems with the battery’s thermal expansion, causing the bottom of the laptop to warp and shutdown randomly. Do the latest macbooks still have this problem with the battery?

John Doe asked: I have a 79 corvet that has a 383 stroker in it. I recently found that the alternator was bad. I have replaced the alternator and a new dry cell battery. I have tested both the battery and the alternator and I know that they are good. Now my problem is that the alternator still will not charge the battery. If i start the car when i jump it, it works alright but once i remove the cables the voltage on the guage starts dropping. It just wont charge. Oh by the way i cant take it to a auto repair shop becuase no one will work on a car that is over 20 years old. Where do i begin to find this problem and fix it? Any advice?

Eric H asked: Hey everybody, thanks for any responses. My laptop recently stopped working. It’s some sort of battery problem. The problem is, I don’t know whether it is with the battery pack or battery charger. I was wondering if there was some way to tell which one???
It’s out of warranty and the manufacturer wanted to charge me $35 for troubleshooting or drive 85 miles to troubleshoot at one of their locations.
Thanks
