		<description>UPS systems do require to be left on at all times in order to maintain their battery charge. Turning them off when not in use causes the battery to drop in voltage during that period, and they are designed to need to only trickle charge with no load, and then  only supply enough power when it is loaded to maintain that charge.</description>
