Electrical outlets in 2 rooms stopped working after water spilled on a surge protector. How do I fix them?

Monte asked:
My kid spilled water on her surge protector while playing on her computer. The computer immediately shut off, along with (apparently) all the outlets in her room and the room next to hers. GFCI’s and Breakers all not tripped. GFCI’s reset (although none of the outlets are GFCI’s). The lights in the rooms still work. Any ideas? Or should I just call an electrician?
