midnightnocturne0 asked: I just bought a Brother MFC-7840W printer. I plugged its power cord into my APC battery backup and when I powered up the printer it’d turn the entire surge protector off. After reading into it, Brother said not to do this. So I plugged the printer into the bottom outlet while the top outlet is occupied by the APC surge protector. Only, when I power the printer on, the surge protector beeps periodically.
Is this a problem? Is my house going to catch on fire? Should I find another location for the printer to plug into so the surge protector isn’t beeping, even though its not going into the surge protector?

What can she do to fix this?

♡LiL♥Kitten♡ asked: I first noticed something wrong when I powered up the PC and the APC logo popped up saying that my battery backup wasn’t hooked up. Weird because it is. Now a few days later, I have a red light on at the bottom of my batter backup near where the phone lines plug in. What have I done wrong? Or is the battery no good? Any suggestions? Has anyone had a similar problem? Any advice would be helpful. Thanks
