Anil asked: I have 4 batteries with me.
I have been using for my CANON camera. My camera needs 2 at a time.
Among 4, i think 1-2 batteries are almost done with their job. How do i test all 4 batters and displose the battteries which are almost dead?
Some combinations works well and some gives only 2 mins backup. I dont want to try all 100 combinations. Any easy way?

Max asked: I’m gonna buy a laptop as I travel a lot but I won’t have a power source all the time so I’ll have to rely on it’s batteries. How will I know how much backup a laptop’s battery will provide? Do I just have to ask the seller or is there a better way?

hipp5 asked: It’s said that if you want to prolong the shelf life of a battery you should put it in the fridge. That makes sens to me because it’s slowing down the internal reactions of the battery.
However, whenever I walk to class with my laptop in the winter or have my camera in my pocket in the winter it significantly decreases the charge on the battery. Why this contradiction?

hrothgarthegeat asked: I am planning a 6 day camping trip, but my camera battery will only last about 1 day. I could buy 6 batteries but that would cost hundreds!
I do have a battery charger (plugs into a wall outlet)… does anyone know of a small generator or maybe a battery that gives power to an AC outlet that I could take along? It wouldn’t take much power to charge my battery, I just need a way to do it from the top of a mountain.
No cars.. this is the top of a mountain!

Diane asked: My digital camera is a Canon Powershot A530. I use Duracell’s batteries for it, but after I take about 20 pictures, it starts to act up and says to change the batteries, and will take maybe one picture, then shut off on its own. I’ve gathered that maybe the batteries I use are not compatible with my camera, but I don’t know which batteries are. If you happen to know which battery works well with this kind of camera, well please answer.

Thanks.

Thomas asked: The Kidde combo Smoke/CO detector that is interconnectable I want only comes as a hardwired detector with battery backup. Is it possible to just use it as a battery operated unit without connecting it to my house wiring? I assume the answer is yes since the battery is backup power.

Brandon asked: I need a complete reset; It has been “Garbage Collecting” for a few days. I tried taking out all of the batteries and the backup battery at the same time for more that a day, and it is still “Garbage Collecting”. Is there any way I can reset it without going to the memory menu… ie. holding 2nd and on? When it is garbage collecting i can’t quit, clear turn off the calculator, or anything… it turns off because the batteries die. How can i reset or fix this. Do I have to send it in to TI?
