hi this question is bit wired but the problem is that I generally use to get a battery backup of 2.5 hr but not I am getting only 1 hr and the Service center of Acer is not accepting the laptop battery they say until unless the battery life is not 15 minutes they will not replace , DO u know any method how can I make the battery unhealthy without voiding the warranty

I have a “wired in” smoke alarm installed in my apartment. It has a battery backup (I think) or something to that effect. I had to replace the battery 3 months ago with a brand new Energizer 9 volt one. (I only use quality batteries.)

This morning however, the smoke alarm started beeping again and wouldn’t stop for about 30 minutes. (It’s located in the hallway near the bathroom and I was not doing anything when it happened.) I replaced the battery and that made it quit.

I’m wondering if something is wrong with this smoke alarm….I’ve only had it for about 2 or 3 years….and it usually only goes off when the battery is low….so why is the battery life so short with this thing? I find it frustrating that I have to change the battery so frequently and I’d call maintenance about it, but there is at least one other smoke alarm in the apartment building I can hear chirping constantly (for about 2 or 3 months now) and yet they’ve done NOTHING about it.

i was having battery life issues and cell service issues so i brought it into the apple store and they gave me a new one. should i restore it from a backup or start over new? will it make to much of a difference? need an answer fast! i need to go to bed and need to know ;D
also, if i start over as a new phone, will all the apps i downloaded from the appstore, still have there data? for example, will i still have my saved games and such?
