Battery Backup Guide

Am planning of purchaing an Ipod within a price range of 13000(INR). Can someone suggest which model will be the best in terms of battery backup, durability, usability and operability. I have had an I-Pod shuffle earlier and it pissed me off(while synchronising with windows XP) and doesn’t exist anymore(killed it :-). I have I-Pod classic and I-Pod Touch on the top of my list, please suggest the top rater of those. Also need some advise on I-Pod Nano.
Please also consider, am also a music freak who listens to every Genre and have around 1 TB of songs collection.

Hello,

I am using Ipod Classic 120GB. My battery is getting exhausted in three hours if i play a video continuously. Can anyone tell me howmuch time we can play a video continuously in a normally working Ipod and howmuch battery runtime apple is promising to its customers? i have gone through apple website and manual, they have not mentioned particulary about battery backup anywhere in the website or manual.

I recently bought and ipod radio for under the kitchen cabinet and for about 2 weeks everything was fine, but recently the radio will just turn itselft on, no one will be anywhere near the kitched and the radio will just turn on. I tried taking the batteries out of the remote and the backup batteries out of the radio, but it still turns itselft on. I’ve used the Belkin Backup Battery Pack (with four AA batteries) on 3rd-generation iPods, and I felt like each new set of batteries got me about 8 hours of extra play time from the iPod. The Nano is much thriftier on energy, though. My question is: How many hours of play-time do you get from each 4 battery set when you use the Belkin Backup Battery Pack with a Nano? The Nano starts out with ~12 hours on a full charge of its internal battery; how much further does it go with the AA batteries added?
