Battery Backup Guide

Thanks for all the help so far! Does Racto Panel ring a bell with anyone? Thats the term someone told my boss but I was unable to find anything with that name. The want something that kicks on right away, like say maybe the lights blink and thats it. They want it to be able to stay on long enough for the generator to kick on.

I have a Nissan Versa and I have a pretty nice alarm installed. In order for me to get all of the benefits of my insurance discounts I need to install a lock for the hood. The reason obviously is to keep out thieves from disconnecting the battery. I don’t need a fancy one just something to get the job done. I already have a backup battery I just need the lock for the hood now. Thanks for your reply’s!!!
Sorry, I meant an extra lock that would need a key to get in.
