Battery Backup Guide

I dont know what actually happened.It was fine until sunday.But it radically changed.I was downloading a torrent and had to keep it plugged for around 10 nights.I used to shut it down in the mornings and leave for my college.I seriously have a problem as it doesnt give backup power any more.It gives a maximum backup of 1minute,unimaginabley down from 2:30hrs earlier.Its just 10 month old Dell XPS1530 piece.please help.What could be the problem???

When im on the airplane, my laptop battery always runs out leaving me with HOURS of nothing to do - short of buying a backup battery, is there something i can buy that will either let me charge it on the plane or is their something less expensive than a bran new battery that could be called a disposable temporary battery?
And as a footnote, i ONLY use my laptop on the plane when the flight attendants say its ok to turn on your electronic items!!
I inquired at the airport about a wireless battery charger - more like a disposable one - does anyone have any information about that?

okay so here is my question..my ipod battery ran out for good, no more charging, and i was wondering if i could still backup my files on my ipod, or will it not work that the battery is dead…and another question..when i take it in to the apple store to get a new battery, will everything on my ipod be erased? and WHY!!

The battery on my Dell Inspiron laptop died a couple of months ago even though I’ve only had the laptop a little over a year. Someone told me it was because I didn’t condition the battery properly. Anyway I didn’t have money at the time to buy a new battery so I continued running it off the power cord.

Now all of a sudden the laptop won’t start or boot up at all. When I press the power button all the lights come on for 2 seconds and then they switch off leaving only the power light and blue-bluetooth light on. And nothing, no screen activity, fans, nothing.

I tried taking out the battery and booting on the power cord alone but the same thing happens.

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

I had some battery problem..battery used to last for only 10 min. So i ordered a new battery.. Even the new battery is not charging..

When I take the battery out and try to run the laptop using only power adptor it won’t start. Someone told me that it should start without battery and battery is for backup only..

When i pulg in adpator the battery charging symbol does not appair.. when i turn adaptor lead ins ome way or press it , well sometimes the battery charging symbol appairs. But new battery won’t charge.
