Hello. I am thinking about buying an Altima. I also like the Intelligent Key feature. But I have a question. If the Intelligent key becomes a problem for whatever reason (dead battery, deprogramming, system just plan turns to crap), does the Altima have the regular key ignition system as a backup. Or is it Intelligent Key or nothing?

Thank you!

smoke/carbon mono detectors battery keep going dead. replaced all twice so far in 08?

replaced to of the alarms. alarms are wired together on 110v system., with 9v battery backup. always start chirpping in middle of night.
alarms will chirp once each in rotation even with battery’s removed.
We are experiencing very high humiduty and heat could this be an issue
I guess I didn’t explain correctly, removing the batteries doesn’t stop the chirpping, you have to unplug the 110v wires. Do they go through some kind of auto check to see if there working? These are First Alert BRK models
