Brandon asked: I need a complete reset; It has been “Garbage Collecting” for a few days. I tried taking out all of the batteries and the backup battery at the same time for more that a day, and it is still “Garbage Collecting”. Is there any way I can reset it without going to the memory menu… ie. holding 2nd and on? When it is garbage collecting i can’t quit, clear turn off the calculator, or anything… it turns off because the batteries die. How can i reset or fix this. Do I have to send it in to TI?

My calc is 1 1/2 yrs old and i never had to replace my batteries last year. This year i replaced the backup battery with a CR1616 battery when my calc was like 1 yr old. Then just recently it said that i was low on batteries again so i put in new AAA batteries. but after that, it wouldnt turn on. then the next day it worked again but the day after, it wouldnt turn on again and now it works again! what is happening?!!
