		<description>As long as you live where the main elec. to the house itself is grounded. Your strip will be grounded regardless which slot you use. But just because you use a power surge strip. Doesn't mean you are protected unless your house is already grounded. Once grounded, if a surge hits, surge strip will take the hit and thus killing power to your electonics. Also, some strips will have a green and red light on them letting you know it is grounded or not. Red light normally just means strip is on and working okay. If both lights are there and on....feel free to plug in.</description>
