		<description>You need a backup sump that runs off of city water. If the electricity over fails, you have a 3/4" copper cold water line that will gravity force open your backup system pushing water out of the sump pit. Seems kind of complicated to the non-plumber, but very simple mechanically. Now, this is NOT something you really want to take on yourself, the job is for a licensed plumber, but I can assure you that without power, it will be the only really "reliable" way to buy yourself time until  power comes back on.</description>
