What will happen if I set my ipod touch up as a new ipod after I restored it?

I just unjailbroke my ipod and saw that when restore from the backup i took before restoring were still there, the battery % and the changed service provider (or on the iPod it just says iPod).
I really dont wanna lose my 1500 songs so yea, any help will be appreciated.

    You can just go ahead and do the restore from backup. It will sync all the movies, music, photos, and apps that you had backed up when this happens.

    It would be ok if you set up a new ipod to, you would just have to go in and re add all your songs and vids and apps. Kyleman
