What VA rating do I need when looking for a UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) battery backup unit for my needs based on the specs listed here?

Get at least a 750. It would allow 5 to 7 minutes time to shut down programs and shut off your system. Bigger than 750 cost goes up a lot, and do you really need 10 to 14 minutes to shut down your system?
