I am not familiar that particular unit. However, most that I have seen have a battery charge level as well as power on. The unit I have also has a percentage of capacity for power actually being used. So if there are other light available, they should be on. If not.....

The batteries in these units do wear out and can no longer operate or operate at a much reduced capacity. This could be what you are seeing. A completely shot battery, so that when the power goes out, there is nothing to keep it going. You should have some kind of indicator that will tell you this. APC units will tell you this kind of thing. You can buy replacement batteries for most of those units. But the ones I work with are for business applications, and have quite large and expensive batteries. Don't know about CyberPower. miha49

are you plugging the computer into the correct outlets on the ups? There are outlets for battery back up and other outlets for regular hookup... have you connected your computer to the battery backed up outlets? Other than that how old is it.. The batteries in those go bad after awhile. Gladiater
